About Us

The members of ACFA include in-house attorneys and attorneys in private practice who are national and international experts in middle-market commercial credit transactions and commercial bankruptcy matters. We are a select group with members in more than thirty states and a number of foreign countries. Our members' clients include most, if not all, of the major banks, commercial finance companies, leasing companies, and factors.

All ACFA members are eligible to join our ListServ where they can ask questions, get answers, share their knowledge and otherwsie discuss current topics related to commercial debt matters.  To join, please login as a member and then click on the ListServ drop-down menu at the top of the home page.

Continuing Legal Education

Each year, ACFA presents five, one-hour CLE presentations on topics related to commerical debt financing and bankruptcy.  The events are held on weekdays at various firms and conference centers in Manhattan, and are preceded by a cocktail reception, including an hors d'oeuvres buffet.  The cost of the events are included in the annual dues.
