This year’s CLEW (Continuing Legal Education Weekend) will be held in-person on Friday, May 30th, Saturday, May 31st, and Sunday, June 1st, 2025 at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York.

Mohonk Mountain House is a Victorian castle nestled in 40,000 acres of protected forest, overlooking a pristine glacial lake. Founded by the Smiley Family in 1869, it is a National Historic Landmark resort committed to environmental stewardship and sustainability, offering 85-miles of trails, countless activities and award winning farm-to-table cuisine. Mohonk is a four-season resort for outdoor adventurers, offering av variety of activities, inducing hiking, golf, tennis, kayaking, and fitness, yoga and meditation classes.

The $2,400 registration fee includes programming for 12 CLE credits (including one in cybersecurity, two in ethics and professionalism and one in diversity and inclusion), double occupancy room and the following activities for members and one guest: Friday lunch, Friday evening cocktail party and dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, cocktail party and dinner, and Sunday breakfast. We have secured the group rate for those wishing to arrive early or stay late.

Attendees are encouraged to review the Mohonk’s website, which provides a wealth of information, and to make independent dining, spa and specialized activity reservations in advance.

CLE Credit Information:
Attorneys who are members in good standing of ACFA will be entitled to twelve credits (including one in cybersecurity, two in ethics and professionalism and one in diversity and inclusion) for attending all CLE presentations. Members admitted in other jurisdictions with CLE requirements should consult with the appropriate bar organization for that jurisdiction. The CLE presentations are non-transitional in nature. The New York State Continuing Legal Education Board has certified AFCA as an accredited provider of continuing legal education in the state of New York. ACFA has a financial hardship policy, the details of which can be obtained by contacting ACFA.
