The panel will briefly cover some of the basic transaction forms, including PO financing, reverse factoring, and supply chain finance. It will then discuss the latest trends, including digitization of trade documents and processes, using AI to develop predictive supply chain financing, how to leverage in-transit goods, the convergence of trade finance with logistics and information technology, recent developments in credit insurance products, the use of blockchain, and the Internet of Things. The panelists will also discuss how to protect clients from problematic situations that are difficult to predict, and how to finance certain situations that have traditionally been left to fringe players.
